You all have been accepted, and all of you guys will be in the same class. Learning the same things, because of the age. Yet maybe you won't, because of the differnt Houses.

Reason: {If you do have any reasons for wanting to join this class then please speak up, and I shall try to help you with it.} It is hard to determine what really calls me to the study of Defense Against the Dark Arts. I believe it is a worthy subject, very useful in the real world. Even if He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has truly been destroyed, who says that's all we're preparing for? There are creatures out there, and other dark wizards waiting for the opportunity of an untrained idiot. I don't want to be that idiot. I think it is very important for us to prepare ourselves for what is waiting out there.
Not to mention that I agree wholeheartedly with Elijah: I don't want to stand by and watch helplessly if someone is attacked, I want to defend them and myself! I have a responsibility to the students of Hogwarts as Head Girl, I cannot let them down. Not that I don't want to, I CAN'T. I have to do this, as well as I want to.

Same reason as everyone else. Learning how to defend oneself and other people as well is a very useful thing to do while we still have the opportunity. It might come in handy someday and it's best not to be caught unprepared.

Everyone you have been accpeted into D.A.D.A. I am simply warning you that these classes will not be simply, and easy. I also hope you guys understand that you may be far away from your friend's because of the age differnce, and household. Yet I also hope that you enjoy my class.
